![]() ![]() | General ongoing and maintraince cost of a rebreather I would like to work out an average annual (or 100 hours) cost of using a rebreather on the top of the price of the unit, training, gas and absorbent. I assume servicing including cylinders, spares including o-rings, hoses etc, but is there a chance that you could share your average expenses? |

Sorry if I thought too much about it I might slit my wrists.I assume servicing including cylinders, spares including o-rings, hoses etc, but is there a chance that you could share your average expenses? I would guess $500 per year would be a good estimate.

I dive a KISSI assume servicing including cylinders, spares including o-rings, hoses etc, but is there a chance that you could share your average expenses? Once a year I replace all three cells, cost £150.00 and I service the first stages cost £100 (but I do this my self) I get through probably a half dozen scrims a year £20. Say another £10 for 0 rings So around £280 / $500 Thats it. Doesn't matter if I did 100 hours or 500 hours the costs would be about the same. A lot less than I used to spend on my half dozen OC twin sets. ATB Mark
