![]() | Diving Australia Hi all afeter a bit of advice from our australian brothers. Might have a chance to come out and join you fellas for a few years and am wondering where the best place to move to in australia is from a diving point of view, primarily no critters that will eat you etc, good wreck diving and cc friendly so wheres best to go to, or am I already there in the UK cheers Grahjam ![]() |

Might have a chance to come out and join you fellas for a few years and am wondering where the best place to move to in australia is from a diving point of view, primarily no critters that will eat you etc, good wreck diving and cc friendly so wheres best to go to, or am I already there in the UK cheers Grahjam ![]() Wrecks - scattered mostly down the east coast - some in the west Brisbane is hot and shitty, Melbourne is well Melbourne - So your best bet is Sydney - a few good Rebreather friendly shops here too. There are some great dive locations......Lots of man eating sharks, deadly jellyfish, blue ringed octupus, stone fish, sea snakes...did I miss anything?? I'm glad I'm heading over there for my honeymoon! ![]() Gday Charlie, Steve just wants to keep all the diving for himseft,since we having trouble getting a dive in with the bad weather we had for past 8 weeks,So he gots plans for South China sea .We had a large amount of rain breaking the 7 years drought we being going through. But come March as a rule the weather comes good. |

For friendly Rebreather diving and if you feel the need to see Qld or Melbourne in your holidays it 10 hr drive or 1hr by plane. The flies will drive you nuts in the summer before you come across a poison insect or snake. which is why we go diving to get away from the flies ![]() |

Steve your Right , Melbourne is Melbourne, try to avoid the rat race like the plague--MMm bit less the Sydney though. Instead come to "Sleepy Hollow" Gee-long or better still --Torquay on the coast & Go diving most weekends. Multiple wrecks in most depths.Michael, any truth in the story Noah's Ark re-construction is underway

You forgot to mention that Australias Scorpions are harmless when compared to the ones found in the Sahara and Middle East. Wrecks - scattered mostly down the east coast - some in the west Brisbane is hot and shitty, Melbourne is well Melbourne - So your best bet is Sydney - a few good Rebreather friendly shops here too. S ![]() When diving Australias west coast I had an encounter with the small boxed yellyfish. I think I now know what real pain is....

S Lots of man eating sharks, deadly jellyfish, blue ringed octupus, stone fish, sea snakes... The flies will drive you nuts in the summer before you come across a poison insect or snake. which is why we go diving to get away from the flies Being a former resident of WA, had a close encounter with a white tip spider... in my bed![]() ....too close to my ....![]() species considered culprit for causing arachnoid necrosis, a reeeeally bad skin condition, often requiring amputation of body parts .Fortuneately, all of mine are still intact. |
