| CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Last couple of years there have been YBOD, Draeger and Classic KISS, as far as I know you only need to be a diver (BSAC OD or PADI OW etc) to go for a try-dive. The pool they use is only 1.3mtrs deep, more like Closed-Circuit-Snorkelling than diving! ![]() On the plus side- its free! Which is good, but you need to turn up and book early, they have towels and wetsuits but you might like to take your own. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've done a couple of these. It's more aimed at people who have never dived an Rebreather before but there should be no problem with you doing it. Last year they had a Classic Kiss, a Classic Inspy, and an Evo. I had a go on the Evo. I brought a shortie but ended up using one of theirs as, as they said, there's no point in you carrying round wet neoprene all day. Book early though, especially if you want a go on the vision electronics as (I would guess) they are going to be the most popular. They'll give you a slip of paper with a timeslot (mine was during JJ's talk so I had to leave midway through "Sorry - just off for my Rebreather try dive" ;D ) and yuo turn up a few minutes beforehand. The pool is very, very shallow (about 1.5m) but that's understandable. Oh, remember to bring some sort of qualification... Janos
