Inspiration in Maui, Hawaii

Greetings all,

If anyone knows that Inspiration friendly dive shop and/or instructors in Maui, Hawaii, please let me know it.

I will visit there on January to February 2008 with underwater filming people. I need Inspiration tanks (3 sets), Sodalime, gases and bailout staffs.

Caveat: I haven't dove with these folks (I've never actually dived off of Maui.
I had intended to when I popped over there this summer, but a couple of things
conspired against me for diving - lack of time; wife sick - long and not
particularly relevant story).

In any case, I did stop by their shop and chatted with them for a while. They seem
like good sorts and I'll definitely dive with them when I make it back over there.

Toyo, Brad and B&B are a great resource. North Shore Explorers (NorthShoreExplorers.com) also has everything you need & an Inspiration to rent as well. As hoppy mentioned we have a boat and run the only dive trips on the North Shore of Maui.

When I took my Inspo to Maui last year B&B was not able to help me (I think Brad was on vacation) away, Maui Dreams stepped in and were really great at meeting my needs. My only concern would be if they have enough cylinders.

Also I would suggest that you have your snofnolime distributor ship your scrubber needs directly to where you're staying or the shop you intend to use, as the 'island' price for scrubber is a bit high for some of our wallets. That way the shipping is not so bad, heck I'd bet that ordering from the Rebreather World Americas store and having it shipped there would be the most cost effective, that or ordering from RebreatherExpress (they have free shipping, though I'm not sure if that includes HI).
