![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | DAN Technical diving conference January 2008 DAN America is sponsoring a technical diving workshop at Durham, NC on 18 and 19 January 2008. This workshop has been conceived specifically for technical divers... it is not a high end engineering or medical meeting that will be incomprehensible to the diving enthusiast. In fact, virtually the entire program has been designed by trawling sites like Rebreather World to find out what issues get debated, and then asking the most knowledgeable people in the world to come and talk about them. In short, anyone who enjoys the exchange of accurate information on these forums would be mad to miss this event. There will be a dedicated rebreather forum attended by most of the major manufacturers, and many of the pertinent questions asked on this board will be put to them. You can see the program and register for the meeting at: DAN Divers Alert Network : Events Hope to see as many as possible of you there. Warm regards, Simon M Last edited by ScubaDadMiami : 15th November 2007 at 03:23. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: DAN Technical diving conference January 2008 Hello, Is it truly alright if folks early in their recreational technical diving efforts attend this, or is this just for experienced technical divers and people in the industry? It looks like it has information I'd very much enjoy learning, but the limited seats and the format of the presentations makes me wonder if we'd be taking up space where I shouldn't. Let me know, if it alright we'll attend. -p |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: DAN Technical diving conference January 2008 Simon- any chance a publication could be made from the event that could be sold! I imagine that a lot of people would be interested and you could easily reach a whole segment of people that could not attend. This would also help getting out correct information… and provide a second tier of income for the event. I would gladly buy a copy sir. Regards, Andrew
