CCR Diving near Auckland, New Zealand

I'm thinking of moving from Ireland to New Zealand at the moment and am trying to find out out about dive clubs in the Auckland area. They have to be open to CCR divers as a few clubs I have emailed have gone "You dive what?!? You're nuts! Get ye back to hades!" Anyone know of any clubs or decent centres down there?

I currrently dive an un-modified Inspiration Vision

Pete's a top bloke, dives a Vision Inspo, is an Inspo instructor, organises plenty of (bloody great) trips, and is based in Auckland.

Can't recommend him highly enough, except for the fact that his favorite drink is something called Mt Gay...

Hi,

As Dave said, be in touch with Pete. We have some genuinely world class temperate water diving close to Auckland, and rebreather diving on wrecks to suit all levels of expertise and experience. You would be most welcome.

Just got back from a dive trip with Pete diving on the Mikhail Lermontov, as already mentioned Pete is a top bloke and does organise a great trip, we had a blast! If you want to dive CCR and more to the point on a Inspo then Pete is the man to talk to in Auckland.
