So are all bets off or not ;-) There are also reports on steel cylinders failing violently or even killing people while being filled. Sure it might very well take more or other forms of abuse. And do the manufacturers really rely on less safety factors for Al given the general impression (like in this thread) that its so much more prone to failure...
