Are all CCR manufacturers F#####

So I've had one of those days.

Can anyone say they have anything but good reports from their chossen CCR manufacturer/ after market part supplier? I mean answering the phone, emails, fixing warranties, sending the product and basic customer service.

I don't know about anyone else but I can't think of any overly nice things to say!

I have had nothing but good contact with all the manufacturers i have had to deal with. AP, Jetsam and ISC.

As for the other parts I guess thats what you get from a distributer, (of many products) - LDS and manufactures seems to have an greater vested interest in customer satisfaction and product support -

I have never had anything but great service from APD, ISC, CCRB and Jetsam.

The CCR world is som small, that they realise the need for speedy resolution and good contact with their customers.

My view on the main diving related products/vendors we use:

Very good experiences with:
APD - Great support all the way
DUI - Great support from their German Repair Center.
Greenforce - Excellent customer support
GolemGear - top scores in the customer services area
Amphibico - nothing to complain about. Top service.

the ones where I had problems with:
Juergensen Marine - Great in the beginning, but the level of support dropped very quickly after my Hammerhead continued having problems.

Delta-P - There is room for improvement in their customers service department.
Divematics - hmmm, I'm still waiting for stuff that I ordered 5 months ago

I've had fantastic support from Jetsam. They actually overnighted parts to me on two occasions, in order to help me carry on with planned dive trips.

So far in my contact with KISS they have been very efficient and helpful

APD? absolute rubbish. Unreliable, slow, they tell lies, they make YOU pay for the design faults and failures of their kit. The service I got was so staggeringly bad I binned the unit and I refuse to get anything more from them.

You could be forgiven for thinking I was just unlucky by my friends on the Inspo have suffered exactly the same lies and poor service.

KJ (Hammer Head) Lovely bloke when you can get hold of him slow service but I forgave him a lot because he comes across as open and honest but somewhat snowed under with issues.

I know Shearwater have just launched their replacement head for the inspo but if Bruce gives the level of service I have enjoyed with the Shearwater computer then he is top of my favorites list.

What is your issue with DiveRite?

I've had nothing but very positive experiences with them over the years. They've always stood behind their products.

It's one of the reasons I went with the O2ptima, and they have been great with answering questions, getting back to me if someone wasn't available, and sending small parts I've needed for the rebreather.

As far as I'm concerned, they are a first class customer driven company.

I cant speak for what goes on down under but here the states Dive Rite gets high marks on customer service. In all my dealing they have been fast, & responsive.
