Any body dived them yet? do they still need weights?

I was thinking of two bungee loops from the wing to the hoses to hold them down rather than the coiled lead.

Any problems with my idea?

Dived my Cooper equipped FGT on Sunday, great! No weights, and didn't have any issues. Thought about the bungee/velcro system, but don't think I'll need it. Helps to correctly orientate the hose to follow the natural curve, that seems to keep it under control.

I'll second that idea. There must be a market for them to be manufactured.

Re: Cooper Hoses Anyone?????

Yeah, would love to have cooper hoses from the lid to the t-piece on my meg, dont think that have them from the t-piece to the dsv would be that comfortable, they are a bit to stiff in shorter lenghts.

But on the other hand i have never heard of anyone busting a hose during a dive... someone will ofcourse correct me on this shortly...

Why?

The hoses that are already on the Meg are great, if you need more abrasive protection then add the hose covers from Golem Gear.

I have replaced the hoses on my KISS with Cooper hoses but can see no benefit to changing those on the Meg, or rEvo.

Cheers,

Dave Cooper.

Re: Cooper Hoses Anyone?????

Thanks for the input Dave. Why are Inspo hoses more likely to crush/tear than the REvo/Meg?

True, but they don't pimp the Meg as well as a set of Cooper hoses would!!
(No offence Jakub, I do like your hose protectors - I have a pair)

They are not.

I never had a single problem with hoses on an Inspiration, I changed my KISS hoses because it is a simple one-hose-swap, not the case for the Meg or the Inspo.

The KISS hoses are long and convoluted, this is not the case for the Inspiration, Meg or rEvo.

Cheers,

Dave Cooper.

Re: Cooper Hoses Anyone?????

Yes. Apologies Dave. I managed to read Inspo where you'd actually written KISS. Apologies if I've offended any Inspo users! I was just curious why one unit and not another but I now understand you were referring to different configurations rather than any design weaknesses.
