| Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Frog Rebreather We had a Frog thread going a while back. Not all that much to write home about, really. ![]() Claimed scrubber duration according to the manufacturer was somewhere between hilarious and ridiculous. Don't remember exactly how long it was supposed to be. Maybe Stuart can fill you in, he still owes us the DEMA 05 (!) report of the Frog. I got their spiel a year before that ... Pics of my 2004 DEMA coverage (pre-Rebreather World ) are on Janwillem's website, and if I rememberthere was an update in the 2005 coverage here in the library, too. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Frog Rebreather The Frog was at DEMA 2006. I stopped and chatted with them. They seemed pretty bored. One guy involved is Mark Johnson. He is a pretty sharp engineer that is a consultant for Oceaneering International. His specialty is deep ROV's. He has the knowledge and skills to make it work. |

Just going by the one I've pulled apart and measured, the scrubber is only 750 cm^3, which equates to around 1.7 pounds of sorb (1/3 that of the Inspo), and the cross section of the scrubber is 71 cm^2. Might be ok for short, shallow, relaxed dives.Cheers, Jason. |
