Some idea of typical costs;

Our charters we do on a not for profit cost share basis and a weekend diving on a cool wreck with maybe a bit of pillaging usually sets each diver back between S$600 - S$700 sing dollars (around 200 pounds sterling) Do our own tying on, have all our own gear such as deco bars surface supplied buoys, rope filling equip ect.

Longer expeditions on charter tech LOB (the real deal heavy duty wreck hunting and pillaging stuff) will run at around S$350 per day (just over 200 pounds sterling a day) (to cover mostly fuel consumption)

Weekend on luxury scoobyddoo liveaboard with bunch of cute brightly coloured rec divers will set you back S$600 - but you do get the opportunity to attempt to shag some of them (which you never get on our trips unless your lucky enough to be sharing a cabin with John )

Flights to 'cave country' can go from as little as S$90 to S$200 once there it costs peanuts

Tech diving is an expensive sport

Bring the suit. Those caves can get cold on long hangs. Got some expeditions to Sra Keow and area caves coming up this year and next your welcome to join. Do you like French food

when are you coming to dive? I have some new stuff in nakorn 2-3 hrs from krabi and a guy who knows of over 200 caves systems north of chang mai, 5 of which are more than 4 kilometres long with world class pristine formations. the majority are dry but he infoms me of many that are flooded and have never been dived Im going in feb to check some out.

shes a big 100m deep sink so its gonna be a big dive (cave enterance at 115m) need to work out how to set up a habitat in such a deep sink - but have a design concept i think will almost certainly work

Re: Moving To Singapore

Hi Buren,

Thailand,Malaysia even Philipine are OK for diving, but the real stuff are in Indonesia. Weather you are into wreck,caves or reef.

Not only the diving are awesome, but everything is cheap here as well (O2 fill is 1 Euro pertank, Beer 5 Euro per Keg etc...)

PM me if you are interested.

Regards,

BB
