I tries playing around with it and it doesn't even have to be tight. Even only just closed was enough to have the gas opt to take the easy way out. I'd say the contruction is rather fool proof.

I opened my valve once, at 220 feet and the velcro held and the gas just vented out the OVP, no issues, just the embarssement of having to oral inflate my new "toy".
