Once again thanks. I wont bother you with anymore questions on this. I'll bet you are correct. If it is open to surface air until submerged or pressurized, it would be an interesting means to save on gas & allow usage of air from the cylinders without any further intervention from the soldier.

For folks who would like one of these sets for their very own, for $100 + shipping, this is the ad that got me investigating. I've bought all sorts of stuff from these guys and the company is legit. They've got a brick and mortar store in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul MN area.

Works for me, but there might be some sort of resident cookie on my computer that enabled direct access. Just try the base website, sportsmansguide.com and key search word Czech. Rig should turn up as one of about a dozen or so hits.
