OMS rebreather

Anybody have any info on this breather? I have a few pics but nothing else

One thing for sure Dave,
If it says OMS on it....it's just someone elses rebreather with there name on it..... They tend not to re invent the wheel

like everyone else here what is the chance it is real or vaporware?

Any rumor on what it is ccr, mccr? Price?

I wonder if it will reach Optima conditions or is someone is hoping for an evolution to create a new PRSIM of light. HE HE HE HE Doesn't take much inspiration... to want to be a Prism owner-

With DEMA less than 60 days away you'll probably have to wait a bit for more details.
Those who know them aren't supposed to steal the show, so to speak.

Since Sinus correctly identified the OMS CCR picture in the other thread as a Shadow Pack III a link to some pictures of the Divematics unit .
They were taken at last years DEMA, and unlike the spyshot and the pictures on Divematics' website show the eCCR version.

I'd like to be a Prism owner also. However, I have the "I want it now syndrome." So, I have an Inspo and have been loving it for over one year now. It was delivered to me the day I started class. Two friends of mine paid deposits on Prisms last month and have been told "March." That is 8 months they won't be breathing warm, moist, silent gas with very long BT's.
The cat was let out of the bag on purpose. My lips are sealed. Maybe Rob is doing some training for some OMS types.
BTW: dove Geyer Bank last weekend. 138 miles from shore. Top of reef at 120'.

My jest is always in good faith towards the inspiration units and AP Valves.

What you say is true the lead time on the Prism's is not a direct turn around. They are basically hand made, and the machine is a monster. However, certain AP models themselves are running the same delivery or longer in certain categories so that street runs both ways.

Hey, if Rob would have a Intro session (in Texas) I would like to take the Inspiration for a ride to see what the machine is like...

I was thrilled to read the write up on scubaboard about the Geyer Bank Trip. Congratulations on the trip; it sounds like a blast. I need to come down and do some diving on the Sea Searcher II. You guys are on my short list to go diving with.

Please continue to let people know about these trips! I will forward notices to folks that I know are qualified for such dives.

Actually, Rob, most of the replies were regarding the original question, save for the bits on PRISM, YBOD and TX diving. Simple thing, really, the few people who know details aren't allowed to publish them. Or they would likely be the last details they could publish.

Obviously I know the original Shadow Pack III version and I gladly answer questions regarding it to the extend any DEMA visitor that saw the unit would know.

But any OMG specific changes that I may know about I won't discuss. It's just not my place to do so.
