Abysmal Diving - what ever happened to them? New Name?

Hey all,

I have certainly realized that Abysmal Diving has been out of business for some time... but are they operating under a different name now?

Thanks

Dead and gone ....... long story but Chris put the company into bankruptcy in April of 2003.

I left in Jan of 2003 and opened up my dive operation here in Lake Havasu, about 6 mos later we opened up Tech Diving Limited. My company and the old Abyss have NOTHING to do with eachother other than I still service my old customers for service on regulators and occasional parts.

Abyss was a cool place. We did some innovative things there that were a little before the market was ready for it. We also took all of the hits in bringing a mixed gas computer to market that was just not ready (but we did not know it). I'm no longer bitter over the hundreds of thousands I lost, and the three plus years i had invested in it. I moved on.

If there is something specific you need with a product or information PM me off board.

Cheers

I am no longer bitter either..., careful what doors you open Joel lotta old Abyss customers still dive, and some of us even surf the net. But being how easy it was to f@#$ us I guess you still don't give us that much credit

That door has been open for many years. I have bent over backwards to service Abyss customers to the best of my ability far and above what most have felt I needed to do. I have replace products, I have honored warranties, I serviced the software for years until it could no longer be serviced. I did it at my own costs because while Abysmal Diving Inc. was NOT my company the customers were.

If you have a particular issue or problem you would like to ask me to address for YOU in particular you are invited to send me a PM or an EMAIL off board and I will be happy to see if I can assist you.

Cheers
