Flow-stop has stopped stopping!

Hi all

my flow stop on my ADV has stopped working (i.e., the ADV fires no matter where the flow stop is set). Any ideas what might be causing this, and how to fix it? If I need to send it back to AP then I can, but if theres an easy fix, then I'd prefer to do that. TIA for your boundless knowledge!

Ed

if I knew where there should be one, I'd know if it was missing. It does seem to move easier than it did tho...

Made by APV? Bin it and get one from M&J Engineering.
A little larger, all metal construction, good positive on/off action
Unless that's the one that's giving you grief

Unhappy Same problem

Hi Ed,
have you got any information until now?
I have exactly the same problem with an APD-flowstop.

We took it off and it worked, it's possible that there was something stuck in it stopping it from sliding.

True enough that may have been the cause, although it still seems to move around more easily than when I first had it. Still, it makes me check it every time I use my box! And now I know how to take it apart...
