Shipping & Customs

Has anyone shipped rebreather parts back to the US for repair and brought them back in to the UK?

I need to send one of my CL's to Leon, for repairs and an upgrade and I'm having difficulty finding a clearence agent to do it.

Any advice from those who've done it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Seb

Re: Shipping & Customs

i did it from Portugal to ISC.
You have to do a temporary exportation in order not to have problems to clear customs when they get back to UK.
All the shipping agents should do a thing like that.
I usually use the Portuguese mail,at the main office there is always someone from customs, i show the material that are going to be send, they take a picture and assure that i'm shipping the right packet.
When it get back they check compare it with the picture and it's clear from customs.
Cheers
