Any Reports from the Pirates Cove Rebreather Week??

Was anything new and or exciting announced by any of the manufactures attending the Pirates Cove Rebreather Week?

Been rather quiet from that end eh?. They must be having a great time or something.

Lynn and I had a great time.

I get so few opportunities to talk with people who are as passionate about this stuff as I am. We had some heated discussions that are going to result in several small changes to the product. I got to meet several customers and renew friendships with others.

It's a caribbean island so there were a couple of frustrations. The internet connection was only working once in a while, so that would explain the lack of reports. Everything takes a little longer to get fixed, but if you want fast, you can stay in New York

The diving was great with something for everyone. There were shallow and deep wrecks, walls and reefs.

But what really grabs you is the service. I don't think we have ever had such good service. The staff is helpful and smiling. If you so much as try to pick up your gear, they swoop in and carry it for you.

A lot of the rebreather divers stayed down for Wreck Week, so I'm sure you'll be getting more reports next week.

yup, some of us are still here having a ball. Ive had an ear infection for the last couple days so not diving, but expect tomorrow to hit the caves with Leigh Bishop (as a strobe holder LOL) Kevin Gurr talked today, I managed to pick up a quarter off the bottom of the pool (twice) with the videoRay micro ROV, the food is great, service is unbelievable, If you didnt get here this year, you must get your reservation in for next.

They are quite obscure and mainly related to controllers. It's extremely unlikely that any display users will even notice them, but they make the product even more solid.

Basically, after a hardware failure and a user failure, the computer will still do the right thing. It took Paul a long time to convince me that the set of circumstances was even possible.
