Dodgy cells...again

I had a lot of bad luck with my R22d's lately..
They last for 2 weeks and then die on me...
The last 2 months me and my buddy has thrown out 7 brand new cells... at 90 dollars each.....thats a lot of money on a instructor salary in Thailand.
Yesterday I plugged in yet another new cell....gave me really funny readings so I measured the millivolt.........and hold on to your hats for this one...
It read 144 mv!?!?
Is that a new world record?
The cells have been used in different rebreathers, analyzers and come from different batches... so it is clearly a cellproblem.

Roger, dont throw the bad cells away. I called teledyne when i had problems last year and they sent me 8 brand new cells to replace the bad ones i had.
