![]() | I dived out of Weymouth on thursday off Autumn Dream we were doing some wreck training in the 30 metre range. Having dumped my student with two divemasters Stuart my regular Rebreather buddy and I went in search of Spidge and dinner. We found a monster edible crab (Later to be named 'Pinchie') I decided to take him home to meet the wife. Whilst battling with this leviathon he got a claw around my middle finger right on the joint and crushed the crap out of it. I was in alot of distress and looked to Stu for help, only to see his eyes were like that of a Jap sniper, his cheeks had bulged and he was laughing! Moral of this story... If you dive with Stu hold the goody bag whilst HE drags the crustaceans out, then he can listen to you pissing youself. Nige |

Well he has his hand under some plating trying to grab ahold of an edible crab which latches onto his knife, pulls it out, waves it around and then retreats, still holding the knife, out of reach. The only guy I know to ever have been mugged by a crab. Cheers, Dave Cooper.
