If I have any strange feeling I first breathe through my nose (an Apeks 2nd stage is fitted to side port of mask and connected to offboard dil, in this case 4/85)

I then flush and go back to the loop see how I feel

If I need to bail off the loop I close the mouthpiece and remove it from the mask (its connected via a drager p-port fitting) and plug in the BOB mouthpiece (that also has p-port connector)

I then start breathing from the bob semiclosed for a short while to warm up the scrubber (its adv is connected to the same offboard dil supply) then manually boost up ppo2 before using it fully closed mCCR.

The diving is the easy part - the hardest part by far is the logistics (in particular the getting transporting, filling, rigging, checking, staging, carrying, then clearing dozens and dozens of stage tanks) - which is one of the reasons Im going pure twin ccr

With your FFM, when you gona remove the first loop (aka Boris) isn't that gona flood the mask before you plug the second loop ?

nope, it doesnt let water in the mask through the hole unless you invert - even if you do, for some reason turn upside down, you have the internal mouthbite in your mouth so she wont flood.
