Dr. Simon Mitchell has just been anounced as the Vice President elect of the UHMS (undersea and hyperbaric medical society). Congratulations. Also elected as Member at Large was Bill Hamilton.

How about a push for another conference in OZ?

I for one would submit this is quike likely to be the best news for the safety of divers at large. The appointment of these two to UHMS in such senior positions at a time when divers in remote areas and projects are undertaking development in self rescue techniques, remote treatment, self management of decompression rescue tables, and onboard ship recompression chamber operations. You could not wish for better reassurance from UHMS as these men.

(Alwasy wanted to put this on my lid - but never dared - too many aussies around, don't want to see my O2 being turned off

Therefore you need somehow to identify all the YBOD's. Of course you coudl say that the pretty looking ones must be teh Aussies
