The last time I looked, this thread had over 1400 hits...thats 1400 divers who got the message this weekend, and who hopefully told their mates too...the original ppo2 thread....way over 7000 hits to date. Some of you may be re-visiting that thread, some of you reading it for the first time. Either way, I'm hanging around for the time being to see that you lot don't forget the message or the consequences. I AM getting sweet on you...

Perhaps because of you lot a few people made it home for dinner that wouldn't have otherwise...we'll never know. But it's a really good thing you've done, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Anyway..darlings I have been bumped senseless in a way I can honestly say, I have never been bumped before, apart from that one time at bandcamp...As bumpin' goes....sigh...you lot are the best. Anytime you fancy another Bumpathon....you know who to call....now I really do have to go and lie down and recover....that's the most action I've seen for a year..

OK Chrissie. Point made. It wasn't me but I spent two hours bullying some poor guy who was vomiting and gasping for breath to keep breathing the oxygen and keep drinking the water while we headed back in today.

First dive of the year and he did 45m on OC air and got caught in netting. Panicked. Probably overbreathed himself and we suspect inhaled some seawater on the surface. He missed a couple of minutes of stops and the ascent was rapid but not a 'bolt'.

45m on air is bad enough but first dive of the season?

Just glad he's ok Nigel...well done for the part you played in getting him ashore safely...

On a lighter note, however..

Scuttle!!! Brent!!! Smudge!!! Anyone!!!....can't sleep...musta got used to a bump before bedtime...it's amazing how quickly that happens...

Only just read this thread, I've been dressed in rubber two days and leather two days over the weekend, but Stoney on Friday had freeflows all over the place [all the ones I saw were at the surface] and some bloke trying to hop onto my camera he put his fins on.

The video 'Deep Trouble' shows how wrong the first of the season can go if you have been out for a while. I'm lucky [or mad] in that I dive all year round.
