M48 and BOV

Hello,
I have ordered a M-48 Supermask and am considering a BOV. I am looking at the Golemgear BOV but I am concerned about the restricted ability to look down with the 2nd stage on the bottom of the unit hitting my chest, counterlungs, etc.

Has anyone have experience any problems with this combination?

By swapping the flow valves would it be possible to put the 2nd stage on the top of the unit? The M48 looks like it puts the DSV pretty low but without having both it is hard to see if it would get in the way visually.

Is there a low-profile Reg option for the Golemgear or other BOV that would minimize the problem?

Is there a BOV that works with the Meg that has the 2nd stage on the front?

Any thoughts you could provide would be great appreciated.

Re: M48 and BOV

Hi,

I have an M-48 and a Golem Gear BOV. They actually work fine together. Don't expect to dance and shake your head, but it's not the goal, right?

In the Library, you'll find 2 articles I wrote. One about some minor changes to do on the M-48, one about bail-out options and the Golem BOV.

Cheers
