my Meg and Draeger FFM, sweet!

OK, after having my Draeger Paranova mask for over a year now, Leon finally came through with the DSV to attach it, just in time for a tryout and then off to Rebreather week in DR. the mask works excellent and the dsv has no leaks, I cant remember a more comfortable dive. The mask seals great even with my bit of a beard and its very easy to be understood speaking underwater by letting go of the mouthpeice inside the mask, saying what needs to be said and re gripping the MP. Cant wait to get comms put in. I ordered up an Apecks second stage that uses a P port to clip it into the mask for OC bailout before I left for DR and it was waiting when I checked the mail today, so I will have that up and running for Innerspace 06. Leon is going to be making more of these DSV's, so if you are interested, let him, or me know.

Hi Ron, How's the visibility and how did you find the restriction of movement of your head (if there was any)?

Cheers

Re: my Meg and Draeger FFM, sweet!

Mine should arrive next week, along with Boris dsv. Looking forward to comparing it side by side with the KM48.

Hi Dave,

I was going to go down the KM48 route with the Meg - would this be the same mounting? If so , can I add one to my order,

Cheers,

Nick

Re: my Meg and Draeger FFM, sweet!

I had a look at Kevin Gurrs FFM yesterday and I really like it, good vision and some very good stuff when using the plug in OC reg, If I go down the FFM route, thats the one I would get. the other one I have seen which is nice is the maximus

Dave

Re: my Meg and Draeger FFM, sweet!

hello all, I've been diving the nova mask on my rEvo for a few weeks: for me perfect fit! (don't know if everyonce face is the same:-) great view!

one negative point: the overpressure valve of the mask is so hard to activate: in the beginning I had to push the mask on my face and force the gas out of my nose! you can not change the valve settings: so at the end I cut the spring of the valve in 2, and use only half of it: now for me it's perfect: easy nose-flushing without the mask coming away from you face!

the 'nose-pushers': well for me not at the perfect place, had to change the two 'outside pushers' so that I can close them more: now it's ok

regards
paul

My understanding is that the Kirby Morgan can receive the Meg hoses clamped as standard.

Dave.

Ron,

What are you using as clamps to fix the hose to the DSV? Looks like a Prism thang you gotta goin'.

Thanks,

Dave.

Hi Dave, could you please alaborate this more.
Where would you connect the Meg hoses? Do you mean with the NATO pod or as standard?

/Jonny
