Yes

You just move the hose so that the fuild can flow towards the t peice

No I was taught on Mod1 and on Mod3 to close the mouth piece take it out and streatch it up as far above my head as it will go to flaten out the corigated hose and empty the fluid inot the counter lung past the water trap.

How to empty the counterlung and how to get water out of the scrubber were also covered but i was refering to the above.

Ah no see I was taught on the trimix course not to remove the loop if at all possible, protect the loop.

MOUTHPIECE IN,... press in on top of the lens to break the seal at the nose, exhale through the nose while pushing the tilt valve found on any m48 pod, and watch for bubbles... takes only a few seconds. Pete

hi pete,

just wanted to ask you something on what you said. you mean having the mouthpiece in the mouth? doesn' t that mean that you'll blow into the loop, and then how will the air pushe the water out of the tilt valve?

or do you mean having the dsv closed, and blow out of the mouthpiece? which ever way you meant could you please give a better explanation? remember i only have the mask. not the natopod.

i am about to dive today to test it you see....
