Aga mask use with rebreathers

Hi

I was in deep thought while sitting on the thrown this evening considering if I should go with an Aga mask in conjunction with my Inspiration rebreather loop. I know that some of you don't think highly of this configuration and some of you do, so for those of you that are in agreement of using a full face mask with your rebreather how have you kept your Aga mask or any other full face mask cleared during dives in colder water since there is no constant flow over the face shield.

Thank you

Pickme

Shampoo (any liquid soap) used as a defog.

Specifically, Baby shampoo is even better since it doesn't irritate your eyes. Dilute it down since you don't need it 100% strength.

What I do is use undiluted liquid soap (the thick stuff) I put a very small drop of it on the end of one finger and smear it evenly and thinly all over the dry mask visor. (it leaves it looking greasy) I often leave it on for a while whilst gearing up before gently swilling it over with water just before the dive.

Works well for me. I think my spit is defective.

That, is exactly what I do with Johnsons "no more tears" shampoo. Works perfect for the entire dive, and maybe day. Never fogs.
