| Russian full face masks I like the look of the russian full face masks. Anyone used them ? Does the orca and the ida 64 use the same mask. Has there been a conversion made for the mouthpiece of the Russian kit to be used on a AGA ffm ? Dean |

| Re: Russian full face masks I like the look of the russian full face masks. Anyone used them ? Honest advice- don't waste your time messing with them. The Russian masks are at best 'crude but functional'. One HUGE problem is that they force you to use the stock DSV which has ultra-high WOB due to minuscule passages. When I changed from the stock DSV on my IDA71- similar small passages- to a big bore DSV it was like diving an entirely different rig. Seriously!Does the orca and the ida 64 use the same mask. Has there been a conversion made for the mouthpiece of the Russian kit to be used on a AGA ffm ? Dean Find & install a set of Ray or similar hoses & DSV on your new toys and you will immediately find it money VERY well spent. |
