| AGA ffm question I've been looking at a ffm for a while now and thinking about tha aga mask,I like the fit of the mask so that has been a major factor, and my dive shop will be placing an order with OTS soon for a couple of aga masks for a local dive team. While looking at the information I could find on the conversion from OC to ccr, I think it would be a relatively easy conversion. I think I might attempt to make the adaptor and was wondering if a mouthbite would be a good idea? I know I need to change the mushroom valves on the oral nasal pocket to help keep the dead air space down, but if I was making the adaptor should I try to include a mouth bite inside the mask? How many people out there use a mouth bite with their ffm? I dont think it is availible on most is it? Thanks, Al

| Re: AGA ffm question Hi, a mouthpiece is included in the Draeger Panorama Nova R-Version for Rebreathers. You can also convert the Panorama Nova OC-Version with fitting this mouthpiece and removing the oral nasal pocket as the R-version is missing the oral nasal pocket. Have a look at Dräger Panorama Nova Dive R Anschlussstück Zeichnung | Online Shop | W+S Water Safety Europe GmbH | Seit 1999. It is in German but there's a nice drawing. |

| Re: AGA ffm question I have been using the AGA's for several years now, but only OC. They're very comfortable and after a while they become second nature. I have not had an opportunity to play with a Drager mask, so I can't help you there. My comment is on the bite piece. I think one of the main benifits of a FFM is that you don't have anything in your mouth. FD ![]() |

| Re: AGA ffm question I like the AGA mask too, thats one of the reasons im looking at getting a ffm. I have just heard a lot about using a bite piece inorder to reduce the dead air space and related co2 issues, but I agree that the nice part of a ffm is not having the the bite piece in there.
