Panorama with standard meg DSV

Hi there,

I have just arranged to purchase a Panorama FFm, unfortunatly i have also told someone I want there S/H Golem BOV but found it wont fit so on a serious note if anyone wants a Golem clamped BOV good as new I need to find some interested parties asap for my friend.

what I actualy want to know is if i want to use my standard DSV with the mask until I get a vario BOV and use say an apex reg for bailout what do I need to fit it all together??

I could do with sourcing this stuff from the uk to avoid any tax or waiting time.

You cannot use the standard DSV with the Panorama FFM. DR Mike does P Port conversions for standard regs but, talking to John Routley (Narked@90), these aren't suitable for the DSV as it's your primary life support systyem and introduces a failure point into the system.

Dennis Vessey or Rich Stevenson can probably fix you up with the correct P Port DSV but these are $550 + import and shipping so it's not cheap. I took Dennis' last P Port DSV AFAIK.

oh bolloks, so I guess it is a case of getting the vario secondhand somewhere and using the p-port connector on that then.

TBH the standard configuration seems to be the P Port DSV with an Apeks P Port reg as temporary bailout, and a P Port reg, with mouthpiece adapter, from Narked @ 90, on the offboard bailout just in case you need it for an OC diver, or CC without FFM.

It's not cheap!
