Source for HP Hand Connector

Does any one know a source for a HP Hand Connector as indicated in this picture of the CDLSE OC Bailout?

Male 232/300bar DIN to female 7/16 or Swagelok thread

Regards
Brad

Re: Source for HP Hand Connector

Basically, it's just a DIN filler for a compressor hose.

To get one without a bleeder... several different ways.

Easiest likely to get a DIN conversion kit for a non-DIN regulator and then to have a machine shop make a plug with the correct thread (as the regulator would have had) to thread into the adapter and then drill and tap to suit for your fitting.

Really, though: I'd use two first stages and connect the LOW PRESSURE ports one to the other with a hose... that way each system has its own pressure reduction and from there the system behaves the same way. Makes no difference then where the second stage or the FFM are plumbed in... both get all. If you unbalance the frst stage IP's by 10 PSI you can make the system automatically feed one and then the other cylinder in sequence. Otherwise selectively turn on and off the valves. The body of the first stsages will act as a manifold to feed gas to/from that point from the other first stage.

Re: Source for HP Hand Connector

Dave,

Thanks for the tip.

Figured a pair of 1st Stages, would make a sensible way of copying the setup with an LP bridging hose, give you the chance of saving a HP seat failure from losing all gas, with not all that much extra in the way of real failure points.

Scratching my head as to why Divex / Royal Navy engineered it with the one 1st stage as I am sure weight/cost/complexity wasn't the issue.

Anyway, cheers
Brad
