Aga /dolphin full face Mask.

Been lots of attempts to locate and purchase a AGA ffm mask for my dolphin.
I saw them on the italian job so i know they exist !
Well making one seems to have been easier then i thought.. hope it works! will try this weekend in shallow cold sweet water .

try the mask off a biopak with a replacement lense? there was a gent on fleagay selling the AGA lenses awhile back. i meant to get one.. but never was able to. unless my hunch is incorrect.. i THINK he posts on this forum... i could be wrong though..

Hi Ray
The aga mask worked ish, i could breathe without a mouth piece, the mask needs a bit more aquasure around the dræger mouth piece.
But on the whole really pleased with first test.

Be very careful. John Routley (Narkedat90) and I have used Divators with rebreather conversions for some time. John has been bitten quite badly with CO2 with his.
Our conversions were built by the Interspiro prototype tech.

Simply kind words of caution.

tracy makes a nice converson adapter but you will have to wait awhile for one he is out of town for the next several weeks. see the divematics web site for pricing. as i remember it was about 400$.

hi i still have my FFm and BOV to fit it that is made to fit the dolphin and it is for sale you for would like it, the FFM convertion was made by a brilliant man who worked for interspiro and we then made it convert to a bailout valve that fits the dolphin.

Do NOT dive a FFM with out a BOV on a rebreather be warned!!

See Johns post above. This kit was made for the job, not a simple conversion but built by Interspiro in their prototyping shop.
John, correct me if I'm wrong but isnt yours based on the military conversion?

Hi mate yes the aga mask convertion was made for the militery and a few hundred were madxe for the eygption millitery
sadly the guy that made them is no longer with us(Gil knot)
strangly i got an email from interspiro saying they liked my convertion and wondered if they might be abule to use it, but they soon went away when i growled that it was made by the contractor they had just sacked along with the rest they made unimployed

tracy's adapter
AGA/Interspiro adapter to fit our DSV is $280 for the kit.
For DSV and the kit,
This works out to $US 1030.00 ea for our standard hose connectors or $US 1080.00 ea. for the Inspiration or Draeger
open circuit/Closed circuit DSV with the adapter to put into the AGA/Interspiro fullface mask

waiting on tracy to get back to order mine. if you send him the mask he will install it for you. i would suggest going for the inpro or draeger fittings so you can remove easily
