| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: FFM Kirby Morgan bandmasks have a great field of vision, you just have to get used to having a wet bag on your head, which is what will happen once the donut gets a bit old and you can't be arsed changing it I'd be keen to see what you've done with the oral nasal as far as blocking up the exhaust valves and also the main dump on the mask itself... |

The Vision is very good, no problem there. the mask is no overkill and actually it was more as a test before i would drill into a KM Helmet. To f... this up is more expensive. After diving now with the mask its fantastic and a helmet is much to warm in waters like the Northsea, temp 7 and up. So i am very happy to cool down when in water. FFM is very save of course with hyperoxy. The question about the waterdump i drilled this out too, to replace with a drysuit exhaustvalve which i can open/close for waterdump or when in bailout by the 2 way valve on the site of the mask. The 2 way valve is also very fast reachable when going down (to fast) with a scooter. So, yes very happy and eh ......overkill, try fixing a lite, a camera and spare light to a plastic frame from the drager. i want to keep my hand free!!! pim |
