![]() | Comms for Rebreathers OTS XT-100 I have the OTS XT-100 comms unit which is a halfmask you plug your 2nd stage into. The communications mic is inside the mouth mask cavity. Has anyone tried these with a rebreather? There would be no bite piece inside so CO2 may be an issue. But is does not have the internal volume of a Full Face mask either so it may be a working situation. As well getting a drager ray DSV (rather large compared to the standard 2nd stage mouthpiece) into the rubber hole in the OTS unit is a stretch. I'm trying to contact OTS before I really force it in and split the rubber unit.... This would be upsetting. Has anyone tried this? Anyone know if the rubber will suffer being stretched over a DSV? | Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Comms for Rebreathers OTS XT-100 I've seen all kinds of set ups with OTS comms and RBs, from mike directly added to the DSV (LAR V) to various FFMs. I seem to remember seeing that half mask thingy being used with a CCR1000 but I'm not quite sure. Would have to dig through my stuff ... ... still boxed stuff that is.Try Mike Pelissier or John Hott, both have MK series rebreathers and will be able to help you. Contact info is on OTS' website.
