Sorry guys, but I'm afraid I have to cancel for tomorrow I wanted to do this dive in particular to test my new strobe configuration, but it is not ready for prime time yet.

I remember Ariel, he dove with us in November of last year when we dove the Sea Emperor/United Caribbean/noula Express dive.

Ariels a nice guy, and even though he still dives open circuit, at least he doesn't dive a Meg!

Re: Sunday afternoon May 11 - Scubatyme - Pompano

Guys, your are really not doing a very good job with protecting the intellectual capital of the Optima team. I know that Eric might very well bring forth an argument saying there is no intelligence to be protected but I will let him start his own thread on that matter.

My point is that should the boat go down so to speak the entire brain trust of the Optima team would be wiped out in one swoop. Have you considered the ramification of this possibility? Diverite would need to file for chapter 11. R22D and Extendair sale would plummet. Richie would need to find a new object of his affection. The Meg mothership would move in and immediately fill the void created. Laws would be passed outlawing any future use of red and black in SE Florida.

I assure you this post is not meant to give Eric any nefarious ideas but rather to point out the inherient risk and lack of foresight in your dive planning. I would immediately fire your HR Manager for failing to point this glaring fact out to you and the CEO should immediately circulate an all points bulletin regarding the new policy of how many Optima divers can be in such a risky situation at one time.

John

"I almost nunchucked those OpTina guys right there! They have no idea! I'm on the edge man! I'm on the edge!"

I just read this quote from a different thread and I highly suggest you post a guard around the ship dock so that everyone is on high alert for a suspicious diver dressed in black wearing a Meg and carrying a brown bag.

What makes you think this is an actual dive, and not an elaborate ruse to weed out some would-be Meg-cloaked assassin?

Damn, now I've said too much....

Re: Sunday afternoon May 11 - Scubatyme - Pompano

The only way that He could possibly sneak up on us at this point is if He were to wear red and black.

Even Eric is not foolish enough to try that with all the cameras and video around the dock. We already have tons of incriminating pics. Any more would just be the finishing touch for him to break the OPTIMA out and sell the meg.

I for one will still be on the lookout for any possible accomplicises that he may have brainwashed though.
