It was because he took them off at depth and forgot to recover them at the end of the dive.

I did the same thing, I put my weights at the anchor line and they were gone when I went for them. I got lucky, they were weighting (pun intended) for me on the boat. Good thing there was a line, I couldn't hold my stop with the weight missing.
Now i've got to ask this...
What is it about the OxyTina that makes you need to take off weight during the dive!
I would just change to a Meg and have perfect buoyancy during the whole dive.

Tony was attempting to get trimmed properly with his new drysuit.

I have made several changes to my configuration and needed to fine tune my trim also. I have since moved 2lb higher on my rig and trim out perfect.

Actually Don, it had nothing to do with me - I was trying to properly weight my newly OW certified girlfriend who's instructor left her 10 lbs over-weighted. If you recall, I was diving my wet suit that day.

Only worries could be if you share room with me and you are a light sleeper.
I have a tendency to chop wood with a chainsaw while sleeping... I have no idea what i am dreaming of, i can tell you this, it ain't Chanel...
