If I hadn't seen and heard it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. Fortunately I documented it! Here's a picture of Eric (MEMpilot) attempting to convince John (jcdesign97) to swap his Meg for John's Optima - Fortunately, John has high standards and refused!

John I was going to suggest that he could gain a hall pass from us if he came north to dive with us in Dutch or maybe a real wreck dive off NJ. But I suspect he would not be up to such a monumental task.

You guys are a couple of knuckleheads! Why would I dive in Dutch where all the PA sewers runoff, when I am already booked to dive the Doria in the big ditch off NJ where all their sewers runoff?

I like the idea John! Eric definitely needs to earn his northeast diving stripes before tackling the Doria.

Eric - if we let Dave S. know that you're not even willing to dive Dutch Springs as a cold, low-vis tune-up, he'll yank your berth faster than you dumped your Meg in favor of the new O2ptima!

And Adrian, I'm glad you came through with the photographic evidence. It wasn't pretty seeing Eric grovel like that ... he even went so far as to say he would change his member name to O2ptiMAMpilot.

Look, if you guys are going to name your dives stuff like 'Mud Hole' and 'Fairy', I think you have issues to work out amongst each other.

Now, I have a don't ask don't tell policy, but now that I've gotten to see some of you Optima diver's underwater mating habits (yes, that's Richie and John I'm talking about), I'm a little weary about diving in low viz situations with any of you.

Kybrt, you are an exception, since you actually dive a rEvo, and only cool heterosexual people dive rEvos.

Somebody post that pic of Richie doggy'n John back in December. Makes my stomach churn too much to look it up.

I think that perhaps i have been somewhat rash in my original comments. Obviously Eric is a man of class and grace who has been horribly slandered by the devious machinations of some Pennsylvania residents who cannot be trusted. ( and yes Deleware is part and parcel of pennsylvania....

Accordingly i offer Eric the first opportunity to qualify for a reverse SCRUBS membership in the North East Rebreather Diver Society (NERbDS). Check the schedule on my website liked in my sig and we will work out some kind of NERbD initiation dive either offshore or perhaps at that noted hive of scum and villany also known as dutch springs quarry.

BTW Eric the offer is open regardless of your choice of Rebreather, NERBS have a strict "dont ask, dont post" policy.
