Any dives this weekend in south FL

Just checking to see if any one is doing any diving this coming up weekend (15th or 16th) in Southern Florida or in the keys. I will be down for a few days and would love to get in some salt water diving. Too much fresh water diving in the past 7-8 weeks.

Also Neil may come down so he can get some time on his new unit and he would love to get some salt water time.

Okay. Then it sounds like a good, long drift dive is in order or something akin to this. Perhaps the rest of us can do that skills dive we keep talking about?

I know you were thinking shallow long drift dive(s), but the Lady Go Diver has the Wreck of the Guy Harvey followed by a shallow drift dive scheduled for Saturday afternoon - Just a thought.

Dive Boat Schedule

Whatever we select, I definitely want to dive this weekend!

That would work fine with me. I have to call Neil but I think He would like that wreck and the the shallow drift would work good so we could keep in tune. You guys know the area and dives a lot better than me, Just about anything would be good just to get wet.

This dive seems like it would be the best of both worlds, a wreck on the deeper end of the recreational side of things, which would allow us to benefit from the use of rebreathers, and a nice shallower drift dive. On top of that, it's an afternoon dive, which often makes it easier for those who have a bit of a commute. And to top it off, the Lady Go Diver is a pretty large, stable and comfortable boat to dive off of.

If the groups interested, I'd like this dive, otherwise, I'll do anything else, because my gills are starting to dry out a bit from a couple of weeks of no diving, so I just need to get back in the water, anywhere!

I just talked to Don (Dsix36) and he is interested in the dive as well. He also mentioned that he was thinking about setting something up for Sunday, maybe even an all day thing, but that is just an idea at this point and not in no way confirmed. Either way, he said he'd dive both Saturday and Sunday - So that makes 3 of us now!

Booking trips aboard the Lady Go Diver are done directly through Dixie Divers(Dixie Divers), because they own and operate the boat and are right accross the street from the dive boat. If you call the shop directly at (954) 420-0009 or (800) 630-3441 you can just ask them to put your name on the list for Saturday afternoon's Guy Harvey Trip.

I just called and asked Willian to add my name to the list - He told me there's plenty of room!
