| Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Upcoming Trip: Etoile de Mer Wreck 02/09/2008 The Etoile de Mer, Miguana and Brandy Wine wrecks were sunk in 2001 in depths ranging from 130 to 150 feet off of Key Biscayne (Miami area), Florida. I am not sure if they are close enough together to see all three in one dive. I have never been on these wrecks yet, and we are going to dive on them on Saturday morning, February 9, with RJ Diving, which departs from the Miami Beach Marina at 8:30. So far, AdrianSolr and I are signed up for the trip along with other local rebreather divers. Anyone interested in joining us should contact Captain Mike to reserve a spot. |

As an added bonus, the weather appears to really be looking nice for Saturday morning - I'll definitely be there! FRIDAY SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 2 FEET OR LESS. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS. FRIDAY NIGHT SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 2 FEET OR LESS. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS. SATURDAY SOUTH WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS BECOMING WEST IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 2 FEET OR LESS. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

I am not sure if they are close enough together to see all three in one dive. I found a site that contains some information about these wrecks. The information was gathered on dives completed back in 2004, so I have no way of knowing how accurate it is today, but I thought I'd share it nonetheless. Keep in mind that, even if we could find the two other wrecks (Brandy Wine and the Miguana), I'm not sure if we're going to have time to explore.I have never been on these wrecks yet, and we are going to dive on them on Saturday morning, February 9, with RJ Diving, which departs from the Miami Beach Marina at 8:30.
