Cheap seats?!? Hey we picked those seats so you Optima divers could get a good look at our Megs on our way past you to the back of the boat.

My pics didn't turn out anywhere near as good as the others, my photography skills and equipmment are some what lacking, but here are a few more.

It's looking like it is getting to be time to add a second boat next time! Florida S.C.R.U.B.: The most active (and maybe even the largest) CCR Club in the world!

Thanks to everyone for making this yet another successful dive.

Re: Trip Report: Florida S.C.R.U.B.’s 11/30 3-Wreck Extravaganza

I had a great time as well. Thanks to everyone for setting up such a great event. I was busy all weekend at the Florida Dive Show Kiss booth and got home late last night. I'll try to go through my photos in the next couple of days and see how they turned out. I know Walt got some nice ones. Hopefully, he'll post a few (hint!).

Doug

Re: Trip Report: Florida S.C.R.U.B.’s 11/30 3-Wreck Extravaganza

Thanks for a great day of diving everyone! It's nice to know there is such a large consolidation of rebreather divers in South Florida that we can fill a boat in such quick order. Monkey needs to get his ass on the boat next time so the ratio of units is a little more even! I hear Mrs. Monkey has a Meg in her future too!

Hats off to everyone for a great day of safe dives sans malfunctions or 'events'. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures that Doug and John took, as well as the video by Lisa and Tony.

Mike, it was nice to have an international guest on board, I hope we can do another dive together before you head out later in the month.

See you all on the next trip!

Eric

That's why it's called Hammerhead: Take a small hammer with you, bang it against the head, and like magic, your third sensor will work again!

Re: Trip Report: Florida S.C.R.U.B.’s 11/30 3-Wreck Extravaganza

Aight, well here are some of my pictures from the day. As Adrian can attest to my whining, I'm not really happy with my results. Being my first time traveling with the Rebreather, my mind was mainly focused on that and less so on my camera set-up. I have been using a different lighting system (which I haven't been happy with) so to make my life easier I rented an Ikelite DS125 and brought along an SB105 for a slave. Long story short the hotshoe connection to the DS125 was finicky and the SB105 was a particularly ornry slave ... so I got very few properly lit shots. Note to self: Don't throw together an untried system the night before a good dive ... anyway, here are a few.

Thanks to everyone who appears, especially to Walt Stearns for modeling inside the wheelhouse of the Capt. Dan - how is that for role reversal?!?!

If you want to see the rest, plus some from Saturday morning's dive on the Ancient Mariner and then a reef, see my hosting site at: Zenfolio | John C's images | Pompano Beach, Florida SCRUBs rebreather dive - November 2007

Here's few of mine for the mix. The vis was not great, but the dives were still a lot of fun.
