DEMA 2007 – Closed Circuit Research Sentinel

The C2R sentinel is a follow up to the Ouroboros aimed at the recreational end of the rebreather market. The sentinel comes in three versions: a nitrox model, a recreational Trimix version and a technical Trimix version. The differences between the versions are the deco software, manual gas addition and off board gas.

The sentinel brings together everything C2R have learnt form the Ouroboros. The scrubber is axial; the gas manifolds are mounted on each shoulder strap similar to the Ouroboros. Instead of the two lines in and manual add of the Ouroboros there are three in, solenoid or automatic Diluent Valve (ADV) and manual add. The shut offs for both the solenoid and the adv are mounted at this point. As per the Ouroboros the off board gas connectors are at this point also.
