![]() | Re: eBay Dolphin Such a considerate seller, ostensibly "protecting buyers identities"!!?? Thanks, but I don't want my identity protected or concealed at all. I agree - in fact its actually counterproductive. Doing that just makes me suspicious of the auction and the seller. I hope you included a trick question among the three. I was thinking that if I wanted to buy an expensive Rebreather, in some potentially risky situation, for instance with an unknown seller where it turns out that the RB is in a different location than that listed in the auction, it might be a worthwhile precaution to call up a local dive shop in the area, have one of their guys go out and have a look at it, and if it looks good, pay by PayPal while he waits, and then have the dive shop guy take it away right then and there and have them ship it out. As I reread this I must admit its starting to sound like a covert CIA operation. In any event, I guess the only problem would be the added cost.
