And like I said in a previous post I was told by Kim at Jetsam that mine is the only one out there with black pods and gold anodized case. |

![]() | Re: Another eBay scam !!!!! You know what really pisses me off about this is I notified eBay the last time with all the pertinant information, original auction numbers, the fact that it was a one of a kind, the pictures were robbed from the original listing, etc. and I got back an e-mail telling me that they didn't have enough to go on. They told me I should contact the original seller and have him submit something, blah blah blah. And to add insult, that lame reponse from them was after the action had closed!!!!! I blasted them in a return and told them it was not my job to do all the investigating, I had given them all the info the needed and they should be doing the following up. So unfortunately the reality is this. E Bay couldn't care less ! This same scam and others like it will continue to pop up over and over because apparently they work, and there is no one keeping the integrity of eBay intact. |

What someone needs to do, someone with enough computer savy that is, is create a well publicized website for people that have been ripped off by scammers on ebay. Allow them to include bank info if they wired the money, or addresses they sent funds to, or the names they made money orders or cheques out to etc....Maybe there is some way of tracing their email addresses to find the actual person's identity, I don't know, I can barely type on these darn things. Then perhaps if it is an international thing, and enough people have been sufficiently ripped off, maybe, just maybe some type of investigation could be done, maybe by an organization like Interpol if it is international. I understand that in the US if you commit fraud using the mail or the fraud crosses state lines it is a federal matter. But I bet you would have to have a large group of people that are ripped off for sufficiently large sums of money for it to have any impact on a government agency. Or maybe, if Ebay was warned about prior scam artists over and over and did nothing, perhaps a class action you know what??? Just my 2 cents worth, and they aren't worth much as they are in Canadian funds ![]() |
