Dolphin - RIPOFF e-bay again

e-bay has FIVE (5) DOLPHINS all with a 1 day listing, same .jpg same BS write up.....

You would think that e-bay would get wise to this type of scam.

It looks like they just don't care. They get the listing fees and if you are so "lucky" to win the item, they have no responsibility to anyone to insure you get the goods.

You get some protection up to $1000.00 USD if you pay by Paypal using a credit card. Its still a big hassle if the sale is a scam and the item is under the protection limit. But for more expensive items there is no protection for the excess over the limit. I have heard that escrow services can be used as an alternative for large amount items.

You have to be very careful even within the "$1000" limit. Its entirely possible for you to lose the entire $1,000, and that only applies to people with significant feedback and trading experience anyway.

There are specific things you MUST DO to use PayPal with some safety, and one of them is not to ever trust PayPal. Ever.
