Can I ask why you think this ones a scam?

Its very tempting to rubbish a lot of ebay ads, sometimes though the seller isnt very savvy.

Some of the things I considered about this auction.

Ebay account inactive several months with no feedback – scammers do do this to try to allay suspicion.
Item location is in Arlington, TX – well, this has been used a couple of times by recent scammers. Could just be coincidence, but the US is a large country with a huge population and Arl, TX is only a pin dot on the map.
No postage costs.
No suggestion to view.
Advert is small and does not do this lot justice.
High value auction.
This auction and the other one I posted at the same time on this forum, both arrived on ebay US in less than 2 hours of each other !

Too many things in the same auction - but to be fair, I still haven't confirmed beyond doubt that this is a scam.

Interesting...this deal seems too good to be true, which means it probably is.

I live about 4 hours south of Arlington, and my brother lives in Ft. Worth, which is pretty much right next door. I wonder if the seller would mind a little visit???

because I have seen this exact same auction before, and it was a scam then

Have been contacted now.
Sure enough, shipping will be through norman-shipping.ro (duh).
Company based in Denver and shipping from San Diego.
Website not bad but addresses are nonesense.
Denver address belongs to the International airport and the other address belongs to Quality Inn Hotel.
Of course there is no phone number.
Will string this numbskull along for a while and then see if he sends out a second chance offer.
Just happens that I was also the third highest bidder !

Been offered a 'second chance offer' - how nice.
Went to follow it up for some time wasting fun, but ebay got there before me and the ebayer is no longer registered.
How sad.
