I kinda wonder what he would say , if you said you had a friend that would meet him and pay cash...
But maybe this would spoil the fun a little early....

Seriously, am absolutely swamped with stuff to do today. I fly out tonight, so hopefully won't have too much trouble stopping by the Western Union office on the way to the airport.

But on the other hand, since I am leaving for to Liverpool this evening (won't arrive until Thursday morning, though) on business, why don't I just hire a car, and perhaps meet you first hand for the weekend? That way I could get my company to pay for the shipping from Liverpool! I am all about saving a pound here and there, you know :-) I am carrying a lot of presentation stuff back anyway, so I could mix it in with the lot, they won't know the difference, if you know what I mean. The very nice lady at the Western Union office says that because of suspected connections with terrorism networks, there has been a recent US clampdown on money being sent abroad. A little secret to make sure these "scamming the scammer" adventures don't bite you in the ass. Send official communication with messages to the seller via Ebay ONLY. That way if the scammer tries to give you bad feedback for an item you never received, Ebay has a record of the actual messages.

That aside, I do not recommend scamming scammers on Ebay to others.
