Does anyone else thinks this smells?
eBay: AA BRAND NEW KISS Second Stage Rebreather Regulator (item 140100374862 end time Mar-31-07 00:21:16 PDT)

Look at the Bidders and their stats..........doesn't add up

why do you say it doesn't add up ? whats wrong with the bidders ?

Well, one of the bidders says 100-199 feedback, yet only placed 5 bids???? Now, one of the Bidders has retracted. Looks to me like someone is bidding up their own item. Retracted the bid as he'll have to pay Ebay the commision. Better to loose only a little $$ than alot

I think that maybe the guys Ebay ID has been hijacked. Trying to get your credit card or bank accounts (only accepted way of paying). But then again maybe I'm paranoid (you would be too if everyone was after you

You couldn't be more wrong about the 1st part of your statement

the guy with 100-199 feedback etc who has retracted his bid was me ! the 5 bids was in the last 30 days .Put my user name into advanced search on ebay ,its the same user name as on here .I retracted because of totally different unrelated problems at my end nothing to do with the seller .
Hope that clears it up a little ?

Yes, it does, just looked pretty funny with Bidder 1 and Bidder 2. Must have misread the bidding on your's............looked like a total of 5 bids. Thanks for clearing it up.

Personally I don't like ebay's new way of doing this ,with hiding the bidders identity behind "bidder ???" it leads to a lot of confusion .
