VR£ on ebay

There are lots of things about this that don't look good:

eBay.co.uk: VR3 - Open Circuit Mono Dive Computer V2.1 (item 130092854363 end time 31-Mar-07 15:40:06 BST)

Why, he has good feedback and has sold a bit of dive kit in the past?

Re: VR£ on ebay

No manual, dodgy photo, bidder 1 to 3 in the bid history. I won't be bidding anyway.

most autions now have bidder 1, 2,3, etc in the history to help prevent people hi-jacking accounts! it's in the ebay info pages.

If I sold my Vr3 I'd have no manual and my photography skills are pants dose that make me a con artist?

Re: VR£ on ebay

I'm sorry but I'd be inclinded to agree with the majority so far. Looks bonafide. Previous scuba kit seller, has reasonable rep. Even one or two bad rep points can be missleading as we had our account hijacked and the idiot sent very rude feedback to a couple of sellers we bought from, who then gave neg feed back to us.

I was lucky that when I bought mine (SH) the seller had the manual and the S/N & PIN numbers in the manual. The photo is probably off his phone, hence the quality, but with something like this I'd either visit to collect or have a freind collect. I'm sure we all know someone we could trust at the other end of the country who would act as a third part to pay in person if you didn't trust sending payment prior to shipping of the item.

This is a change I am not aware of. Sorry for causing a fuss, I am not a heavy
ebay user.

Still, they say there is no such thing as bad publicity

Better safe than sorry.... IMO its the kind of thing you need to see and feel before buying!

Hell, if its legit you just gave him some free advertising!
