Another Ebay scam?

I found an auction on ebay the other day for a Black Dolphin that said "email me for buy it now," which I of course did. The seller ended the auction and wrote back that ebay would email me with payment information. He of course has no more pictures of the Dolphin, "can't accept paypal" and wants me to wire him the money. Yeah, right like that's going to happen...

Did you get his IP address by looking at the email headers? In Outlook, open the email, click View on the menu bar, then Options, then look in the Internet headers box for the "X-SOURCE-IP".

It could be from an AOL translated IP address, but if it is something else, please paste it here. The guy is about to get an html beacon from yours truly, either way.

It would be a great buy if only it was true. Usually scammers are a little more clever. This is so obvious. I almost feel sorry for him...not!

I think this is the same guy. Different email, looks like same scam. Same picture I think.

That's not an official EBay notification and if it doesn't show up in your EBay mail account it is a fake.
