Four days of spearfishing On the MV Playmate , out of key west . We go every year and I'm not going to miss it Its one of the trips every year that I 'm not teaching and I have my close diving friends with me so Its pretty relaxing.

Send photos of your trip to the group, and enjoy.

I hate doctors, not personally just the way I feel sometimes when interacting with them. I think its extremely important to find one who has similar life experience. I used to be a serious rock climber and had a shoulder injury. I went to more than one doctor who said when does it hurt--when I climb--well stop climbing take some Ibuprofen and call me in two weeks. Which completely missed the point! Now I ask my doctors upfront--Do you consider yourself an athlete and why.
Look for somebody who can at least relate to your lifestyle and let them know in no uncertain terms if you think they are being jackasses.
Good luck and stay safe.

WOW, that's pretty strong . On a good note None of the Docs I have seen have made any recommendations on curtailing my diving activities , good thing I do it for a living any one want to buy A DIVE SHOP?

I have a long line of docs in my family and have heard plenty of stories that would ring right along with your statements .

" hey, doc I have this pain in my sinus when I drink hot tea . " Doc says,
"Take the spoon out " Really the docs are there to help resolve the pain or the issue and sometimes the easy answers are right in front of us. As an instructor I read some posts and could reply with somewhat the same Witt in reference to someones choice of reaction in question.

Regardless of my diagnosis I have decided to step up my efforts to get trained on all the current rebreathers and start diving, instructing, selling Rebreather's full time. Life is short so dive them all.

day 2 after surgery and two days till pathology report comes in. fingers crossed and feeling good thanks to hydrocodone (sic) man its tough to read posts in this state.

It makes the days seem longer when you have to wait for results from pathology. So hang in there, you are in my thoughts and prayers
